The Ministry of Culture on January 15 will hand over awards for the most representative works in different cultural-artistic areas. The award ceremony will take place at the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac”, IPN has learned from the Ministry.
The gala concert will involve the National Orchestra “Lautarii”, Lidia Bejenaru, Nicolae Glib, Ioana Capraru, Nicolae Ciubotaru, Ion Paladi, Osoianu sisters, Alex Calancea Band, Nelly Ciobanu, Geta Buracu, Cristina Pintilie, Vitalie Dani and others. Access to the concert is based on invitations for the diplomatic corps, creation unions and senior state officials and on tickets for the general public.
The National Culture Day was instituted in 2012 with the aim of promoting the authentic cultural values and personalities from the field of culture. The January 15 event is dedicated to the great poet Mihai Eminescu.
